JANUARY:
COOPERATION:
Surgical expedition was made to Doba, Chad from January 8th to 18th. 32 children underwent surgery; 75 new consultations were performed; and a list of 35 children for the next mission was compiled.
RAISING AWARENESS:
At the European University of Valencia, a presentation of FFF was made “Hands that Heal, Eyes that See, Feet that Dance” and given by Dr. Marc Garcia-Elias, Mrs. Fina Sensada, and Mr. Nacho Duato.

FFF presentation at the Egyptian Traumatology Congress in Luxor, Egypt.

RAISING AWARENESS:
Mawj sends a series of 20 poems in Arabic to FFF as his way of collaborating with the possibility of publishing a book. A Professor at the University of Barcelona in Arabic Philology translated these poems into Catalan in 2021.
Khadija, former collaborator of the Foundation, is currently translating Mawj’s poems into Spanish.
This year in 2025, Lupe Bohorques, a poet from the European University of Valencia will be in charge of publishing and printing the poems.

APRIL-1
Ther will be a special Presentation of the Fernando Fonseca Foundation in the United States at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York by Dr. Marc Garcia-Elias/ Fina Sensada/ Jordi Torrent/ Flavia Galuppo with a screening of 2 informative videos on the foundation’s work.
Also, on the same day,a conference will be held at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York by FFF entitled “The Fernando Fonseca Foundation: A Humanitarian Project Aimed at Children with Hand/Foot Problems Secondary to Untreated Polio.” Location: The Menschel Auditorium of the Hospital for Special Surgery in NY at the main hospital 2nd Floor/NYSSH.
