MERCÈ CASADEMUNT

She comes from a family of Catalan merchants and industrialists. Since the 1980s, she has been responsible for Granja Viader, an emblematic establishment in the city of Barcelona with more than 150 years of history.

She has shared a close friendship with Fina Sensada since before the Foundation was established, following a documentary she made about the lives of the women of the Viader family, Cacao y nata (“Cocoa and Cream”).

Since its beginnings, she has been an occasional collaborator of the Fernando Fonseca Foundation in its activities, together with her husband, Jordi Espuny Ferrer.
