GUADALUPE BOHORQUES MARCHORI
Lupe Bohorques holds a degree in Law and a PhD in Communication from the European University of Madrid. Since 2007, she has been a member of the teaching staff at the European University of Valencia, where she teaches Ethics and Constitutional Law and is a Senior Lecturer in Human Rights.
As a researcher, she has published numerous articles on topics related to ethics, social responsibility, human rights and various gender-related issues. She is the author of books of essays, short stories, poetry and biographies, and has received several literary and non-literary awards, including the International Human Rights Short Film Award from the Por la Justicia Foundation.
She regularly collaborates with different media outlets, cultural organisations, associations and NGOs. She is particularly committed to her work as a volunteer with Rural Development Trust (Vicente Ferrer), an experience she recounts in her book Diario de una voluntaria: Viaje a Anantapur.
In October 2025, she was appointed Academician of Culture of the Royal Academy of Valencian Culture (RACV).
She loves music, cinema, sport and literature. She plays the guitar and a little violin, and is a single mother.
She is part of the Foundation because she believes that it is a human responsibility to contribute to making the world a better place, and because she loves the combination of art, medicine and cooperation, as well as the people who make up the Foundation.
Because helping a child stand on their feet means restoring dignity to a human life.
And also because she likes being a fairy godmother and, with her magic wand, searching for magical collaborators who want to join this mission.
